Certification of Living Trust

Once you have created a living trust or joint living trust you may desire to transfer investments or other financial accounts into the name of the trust. A Certificate of Inter Vivos Trust provides your banking institution, brokerage firm, transfer agent or other third party with necessary information regarding the trust to facilitate this transfer. This document also confirms the trustee's authority to act on behalf of the trust.
