Princess Diana Last Will and Testament

This is a copy of the last will and testament of Diana, Princess of Wales (1961-1997).

Princess Diana, born Diana Frances Spencer, was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales. They were wed in a fairytale wedding in July of 1981. Their sons, Princes William and Harry, are second and third in line to the thrones of the United Kingdom and fifteen other Commonwealth Realms. On her father's side, Diana was a descendant of King Charles II.

The Princess of Wales was well-known for her support of charities devoted to a number of illnesses and causes, including AIDS, leprosy, homelessness, drug addiction, and care of the elderly.

In the early 1990s, Charles and Diana's marriage fell apart. Their divorce was finalized in August 1996.

Diana remained the focus of near-constant media scrutiny in the United Kingdom and around the world before, during and after her marriage, even in the years following her sudden death in a car crash, which was followed by a spontaneous and prolonged show of public mourning. Contemporary responses to Diana's life and legacy were mixed but a popular fascination with the Princess endures. The long-awaited Coroner's Inquest concluded in 7 April 2008 that Diana had been unlawfully killed by the negligent driving of the following vehicles and the driver of the Mercedes in which she was travelling.
