Nova Scotia Resident Manager Agreement

You can't be available to tenants in your managed properties 24 hours a day. But you can hire one of the tenants to act as resident manager under the terms of this contract for Nova Scotia rental buildings.

In exchange for acting as the resident manager, the tenant will get a reduction in the rent, and be paid a monthly management fee. The resident manager's duties and responsibilities include:

• Collecting rent, late charges, etc. and issuing receipts.
• Giving notice to defaulting tenants.
• Inspecting rental units after tenants have moved out and preparing inspection reports.
• Showing rental units.
• Taking care of the building and the grounds.
