Connecticut Notice to Tenant for Nonpayment of Rent

Connecticut landlords, if you have a tenant who is behind in the rent, serve him/her with this Notice to Tenant for Nonpayment of Rent, pursuant to the Connecticut General Statutes.

The Notice informs the tenant that s/he has 24 hours to pay the overdue rent.
If the tenant does not pay the overdue rent within 24 hours, the rental agreement shall be terminated and the landlord shall proceed with a summary process action.
A Service of Notice form is included to record the details of how the Notice was served on the tenant.
