Canada Statutory Declaration for Non-English Speaking Declarant

What do you do if you have to take a declaration from someone who doesn't speak English? You use this Statutory Declaration form.

• This Declaration is used when the Declaration is in English and the person making the Declaration (the declarant) does not speak English.
• The contents of the document must be translated to the declarant by an interpreter before the declarant can sign it.
• The Statutory Declaration can be used anywhere in Canada.
