Notice of Forfeiture of Deposit

This Notice of Forfeiture of Deposit is designed for use by a company or business to send to a customer who has given a good faith deposit for the purchase of goods. This letter informs the customer that the company has unsuccessfully attempted to contact the customer regarding the delivery of the goods. It also serves as formal notice that unless delivery of the goods is taken within a set timeframe, the customer’s deposit will be forfeited. It is important that this type of notice be set forth in writing.
