Room Lease Agreements

Whenever a landlord (in this case, the owner of the residence where a room is rented in) rents a room to a tenant, there should be written agreement signed by both landlord and tenant. This type of agreement is called a Room Lease Agreement and is sometimes known as a Room for Rent Agreement. This agreement should set forth the terms to which the parties have agreed to, including the rental amount, the rental period and the rights and obligations of both the Landlord and the Tenant.
