Pet Custody Agreement

This Pet Custody Agreement will effectively set out who receives custody of any pets if a couple decides to end their relationship. This agreement sets out the specific terms of the agreement including the date of commencement, which party will retain custody of the pet and if any support will be paid for the pet’s care. It also sets out a detailed visitation schedule including holiday visits. It is imperative that this agreement be memorialized in writing rather than by oral agreement.
