This Credit Collection Cease Communication Letter is used to inform a debt collector or collection agency to cease all communication with you regarding a specific debt. Under the Fair Debt Collections Act, you do not have to communicate with a collection agency. This letter sets out the specifics of the debt including the name of the creditor and the amount owed.
