Change Order

This Change Order will effectively set forth in writing any changes made to an original contract. This change order sets forth the name of the original agreement (i.e. building contract) and the parties to the original contract. It also sets out a brief description of the changes to the work or services to be performed and if the contractor will receive additional compensation for the changes. It is crucial that any changes to an existing contract be clearly and succinctly set out in writing. A written Change Order will prove invaluable in the event there are disagreements or misunderstandings between the parties about the changes or revisions made to an existing contract. (continued ...)
