Assignment of Interest in Patent
An inventor usually files a patent application to protect his or her rights in an invention. Once a patent is issued, there are instances in which the inventor desires to assign the patent interests to another. This Assignment of Patent will effectively transfer any and all rights in a patent. This assignment sets out the specific terms of the agreement including a description of the invention and the consideration paid for ownership in the patent.
