Assignment of Lease by Tenant with Landlord Consent

An assignment of lease is an agreement whereby the original tenant to a lease assigns his rights and responsibilities under that lease to another person. The original tenant may choose to use an assignment for a number of reasons including job relocation, financial concerns or other changes in circumstance.
