Skate Rental Agreement & Release

Before renting out inline or ice skates, it is important to have your customers read and sign a comprehensive rental agreement. This Skate Rental Agreement and Release serves several important functions. First, it ensures that both parties understand what is expected from the rental including the expected behaviour and the inherent risks and dangers. Second, it limits the company’s liability and prevents the renter from filing a claim against the company in the event of injury. Having a written agreement also protects the company against suits by third parties who may be injured by renter’s skate usage and also requires the renter to indemnify the company for any damages or loss resulting from such injuries.
