Consent to Act as Public Officer
SECTION 252 of the Australian Income Tax Assessment Act 1936 requires that every company carrying on business in Australia, unless exempted by the Commissioner, be represented by a public officer duly appointed by the company or by its duly authorized agent or attorney.
