Amendment to Lease
Occasionally after a lease has been entered into, the parties may agree that a change must be made to the original lease. For example, the Landlord may have improved the property in some way (installed a hot tub or improved the landscaping) and wants to include its maintenance in the Lease, or both parties may agree that the term of the lease should change. Typically most leases contain a provision allowing amendment of the agreement if that amendment is signed by both the landlord and the tenant.
